1. What was the best part of the service? (if we don’t know what worked and why, it’s hard to replicate in the future or fix it if it becomes broken)

2. What were the part where people seemed most/least engaged? (if people are losing interest it may not be our fault, but it is our responsibility to engage them)

3. Did we speak to every type of person in the room? (or did we assume everyone was just like us or in the same place emotionally/mentally/spiritually that we are).

4. How smooth were the transitions? (we don’t want to come across as slick, but we also don’t want to be awkward or distracting).

5. Where did insider language or jargon creep in? (did we explain theological terms, avoid insider jokes or acronyms, what about announcements and the sacraments?)

6. Did anything feel incongruent or out of place? (maybe it was fine but it just didn’t fit).

7. Did anything come across as unprepared? (not everything has to be polished but it shouldn’t seem like this was the first moment someone had thought about what he/she was doing).

8. Did we offer first-time guests a clear next step?

9. What went longer than planned? (was this good or bad, understandable or selfish).

10. What are some “better even ifs” (what would have taken something from good to great).

11. Did people walk away believing we take God’s Word and our faith seriously and that we want them to do so as well?

12. Was the Gospel clear and important?
